I first developed a taste for the high view with my photographer dad, who took me with him to giant arcing freeways and the tops of Houston skyscrapers to get the perfect angle on a shot.
In contrast to Houston’s grey freeways is this series, shot in the warm tones of sunrise. The angle of the view turns these fields just south of Austin into more abstract graphic designs, and the early morning empties the world of pretty much everything but grass, trees and dirt roads.
